Morgan Cycles, located in the heart of the Écusson district in Nîmes and just steps from the historic Maison Carrée, is much more than just a bicycle boutique. Founded by Morgan, with 19 years of experience in the industry and a background spanning mechanics and design, this workshop-boutique is now a hub for cyclists in the city. Here, cycling culture blends with a love of the region and local tradition, creating an environment where every customer is welcomed with expertise and passion.

How did your team/project come about?

Morgan Cycles was founded in 2017 in the back of Morgan’s uncle’s garage, where it all began: buying, repairing, and customizing vintage bicycles. Morgan’s passion for innovation soon led him to collaborate with Europe’s top cargo bike brands, bringing this cutting-edge concept of urban mobility to Nîmes. Today, seven years later, the shop has become a true institution just steps from the Maison Carrée, with a 120 m² space and a team of specialized technicians who maintain and repair over 1,000 bicycles a year. Morgan Cycles offers the most renowned brands on the market to meet every two-wheeled mobility need.

What are the values ​​and mission of your team/project?

Our core values ​​are professionalism, listening, and kindness, and they inspire everything we do every day. Morgan Cycles’ mission is simple yet meaningful: to support each customer with passion and expertise, offering an experience that goes beyond simply selling bicycles. We conceived the boutique as a place of exchange and sharing, where cycling intertwines with art, thanks to our gallery showcasing works by illustrators and graphic designers, enriching our space with a creative spirit.

How do you plan to influence the cycling community?

The design of our Maison Carrée jersey celebrates Nîmes and its historical heritage. Created in collaboration with illustrator and graphic designer Pierre Busson, this jersey pays homage to the Maison Carrée, a Roman temple recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Featuring the inscription “NEMAUSUS,” the ancient Latin name for Nîmes, and the temple’s iconic columns, the jersey celebrates the city in every detail. On the back, the city emblem “COLNEM,” a crocodile chained to a palm tree, symbolizing a historic Roman victory, tells a story we can wear today. This jersey represents the connection between cycling and culture, offering our customers the opportunity to carry a piece of Nîmes’ heritage with them.
