Reverb Cycling is a collective of cyclists who have come together to embrace the unpredictable nature of gravel and foster a more inclusive and supportive cycling community. Born out of a desire to break away from traditional norms and embrace chaos, the team represents a diverse group of cyclists from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Its mission is not only to compete at the highest level, but also to bring about positive change in the cycling world.

How did your team/project come about?

Reverb Cycling was born with the vision of embracing the chaotic and unpredictable nature of cycling. We were inspired by the concept of reverberation in sound, where clean, distinct sounds bounce off surfaces and return distorted and less defined. This metaphor captures our approach to cycling and community engagement. We officially debuted on the UCI gravel racing circuit with a team that includes experienced cyclists like Cristiana, a former professional MTB cyclist, and Sacha, a professional road racer with 49 victories.

What are the values and mission of your team/project?

Reverb Cycling’s core values are inclusivity, equality, and community impact. Our mission is to provide equal opportunities for men and women of all backgrounds, creating an environment where individual contributions lead to collective progress. The team emphasizes giving back to the community, fostering a culture focused on positive change and personal growth, rather than just competitive success.

How do you plan to influence the cycling community?

Reverb Cycling aims to influence the cycling community by fostering an inclusive and supportive culture. We founded the Reverb Hub in Bergamo as a community hub, encouraging interaction and support among local cyclists. By focusing on community rather than individual success, Reverb Cycling aims to set a positive example and foster a more connected and supportive cycling environment.

What was the inspiration behind your kit’s design? Is there a particular story behind it?

The Reverb Cycling kit design was inspired by our collaboration with Santini Cycling. This partnership is based on a shared vision of fostering a passionate and inclusive cycling culture. The Santini x Reverb Cycling kit features a unique combination of black and white with highly detailed gradients, reminiscent of chaos. This design reflects the team’s dynamic and bold spirit, ready to tackle new challenges with style and technical excellence.
